but does anybody have access to information on a left-handed roll on throttle kit.



I have a customer who trying to build a bike for a client who has lost the use of their right hand
Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

The last Monster that I had - a 1997 model - had a push/pull throttle with two cables.  I'm pretty sure that that one could have been moved over to the left side, as long as you swap the two cables, and it would work.

You turn the throttle one way, it pulls on one cable.  You turn it the other way, it pulls on the other cable.  It's the spring on the carburetors that determines which way it goes when you release the throttle.  If you swap the two cables when you swap which side the throttle goes on, it should rotate in the right direction to open the throttle.

I haven't seen one for many years, since the bike in question has been gone for many years.  All I know for sure is that it had two cables and if you rotated the throttle one way it pulled on one cable and if you rotated it the other way it pulled on the other cable.

I don't have the full technical specs for the thing.  It's one possible solution to the question.

Why do you want to know so many details about this anyway?

me.. was helping BP with trying to ask as many questions as possible. :D
