Hey everyone. Some of you have been taking advantage of the incredible Zalusky Advanced Riding School, and I thought that I would pass along some quick info about a gathering that we are having. Jessica is hosting a Meet and Greet next week. She posted this over on MNSBR, and I know that very few of you here go to that forum so I thought that I would copy and paste the post over here. Below is the announcement that Jessica posted...Hopefully I'll see some of you there! chug

ZARS Meet/Greet...

We know Advanced Rider training and Track Days can be a bit overwhelming or confusing, so we’re going to start a ZARS Meet & Greet to talk face-to-face, answer questions, provide information first hand and a chance to meet other riders and instructors. Phone calls, forums and emails can only help and inform so much, that talking in person could be extremely beneficial and helpful.

We’re kicking off our first ever on Tuesday, August 3, at 6:30pm at Champp’s in Richfield on 790 West 66th Street. Have dinner or refreshments or just come and talk shop.

Any and all riders or staff are welcome to come. Whether you've never done a Track Day or you're a seasoned Track Junkie, come and join us!

This will be pretty casual as we figure this out. One idea we'd like to try - if you are new and have specific questions you'd like answered, you can PM/email them now and will answer the evening of (you can still definitely ask questions on site).

If you have thoughts or ideas on this meet/greet, PM/email away!

That's awesome! I'm happy to hear that. We love getting the feedback and encourage new ideas from riders. I've never worked with such a dedicated and passionate group of people before. Behind the scenes, we are always working to improve on what we do and provide the best experience possible.

I hope to get more of the peeps on this forum to come out. I've ridden with a lot of you guys/gals on the street, and I know that you would love it!

Thanks KP.

you're welcome. only takes one session to become a track addict!

my friend (Martin) puts white race plastics on his bike for track sessions.
I think you told him to stop thinking so much! He'll be up at Brainerd in Sept.

laughingdp Martin is great. He's a great rider and loves to challenge himself. I have fun working with him. He did say that he is doing his first trackday in Sept. I know that he's gonna love it.

at least it didn't lock up your rear wheel at full throttle like it did mine.  that causes a little poop in the old pants. bacon

Well I was waiting to go on track for the third session of the night and all of a sudden my speedo starts going from 0 - 120 - 40 - 160 and I wasn't even moving.  Then the bike shut down completely with the speedo stuck at 110mph.  So that's where it is right now.  We have visually checked the fuses, and they looked ok.  Gauge cluster is getting no power at all.  Can't turn it on and no blinking light for immobilizer shut down.  So we will have to start investigating a bit deeper.   bang head

We need to investigate the fuses a bit more but we are a little busy this week.  Also the red keys don't reset the problem if it was an immobilizer shut down.  Apparently only the key card can do that.  Red Keys only reprogram the black keys.  Who knew.
