I wasn't refering so much as to what is says, but as to what the logo represents - a bird? and how that fits into Ducati history.

Ok, so we're getting warmer - but what does the bird represent???

I'm sure that the party responsible for the logo didn't just arbitrarily pick a bird. Isn't anyone else curious about this?

It is an eagle (so technically it's a bird).

The logo represents a bird or an eagle.  I'm not sure which, but I'm pretty sure its a bird.  Or it could be an eagle.

I just read that if it faces towards the left, then it represents a bird, and if it faces towards the right, it represents an Eagle.  But this was on Wikiwhogivesacrap.com so it may not be accurate.
