Best place to buy Carbon fiber from ?

my dp carbon parts have faded

The Bearded Duc

<------- Shift Tech in the sponsors box has a few things, as well as Commonwealth Motorcycles.

You'll pay more but the dealer should be able to get you just about anything, maybe with a little wait, but you'll get it.

do realize that all carbon parts will turn yellow without proper UV resistant clear coats.

and remember CF was a performance item long before it was a bling item.

+1 , Always keep a layer of wax or or some type of uv blocker on the CF. I use Protect all, over my entire bike, they sell it at Cycle Gear.

All of my carbon has come from shift tech or moto wheels. my most recent piece was the vented front sprocket cover from shift tech, the quality of this piece seemed even better than the first piece I bought from them. You you can't go wrong with ether vendor!

like shift tech but it seems they really dont make much carbon for the 696

i might end up going with monsterparts and shefttech  on the carbon

For what ever reason, shift tech has reduced their 696/1100 offerings, they used to have all CF parts available for the bikes! They give a good discount for the forum members, -10% and free shipping!

of corse we can also offer each plasctic part of the 696/1100 as carbon replacement  ;D

we have also something realy special ... called DESMOWORLD BLACKLINE CARBON ... witch is darker than standard carbon ... looks not grey as standard but black

go closer you understand "wow ... carbon"

here my own carbon seat cowl ... in the middle you see the carbon ( left/right its vinyl ) the picture are a little dark, so in realy little more carbon structure visible from the distance

of corse also available as standard carbon :)

here you can check the difference @ same light situation

Chris, what does your complete setup look like. Seat cowl, tank panels, tank covers, fender... If you had something that matched that seat cowl I might be interested.

I love their product, pricey but WORTH the price, and looks impeccable
Carbon Dry Japan

That's our carbon fiber source - we are there US importer and distributor, and while I will admit it is a bit pricey, we have never, EVER had a single piece of CarbonDry carbon fiber returned in over 3 years.

I honestly don't care if we don't sell as much as the normal carbon guys, so long as I know we have the nicest stuff there is.
