I have a 2002 M750Si.e. stock except for REMUS D.P. pipes and K&N air filt.
Bike had 7200 miles when I bought it last year, has almost 9000 now! Smiley  I like the sound of the Remus, they give the motor a nastier sound, but still nice and throaty.

A friend just bought the same bike,Senna and everything, with about 18k on the clock.  Bike runs and sounds great, with Leo Vince's and K&N filter.  We rode together for the first time today and it was SUPER cool to see and hear what is essentially MY bike but with different pipes.  Sooo...  naturally it got me thinking, "what if..."  What COULD I do with my bike, given the year and engine, either on the cheap or more extravagant.  I think high mount pipes look pretty badass, but not sure if that's even an option for me?  Termi's are lovely but I do like my DP's by Remus.  Should I replace the stock rear shock with Ohlin's?  Front fork upgrades?  Fire away, any ideas would be much appreciated!

If you wanted to go with high mount pipes, I'd trade my high mount CF MIVV pipes even swap. They're on a 2000 M900. I'm 95% sure it'd work, but fortunately my brother has a 2002 M750Sie and it's in my garage. You have a very nice bike!

I guess he wants to differentiate from his buddy's bike without altering the cosmetics of the Senna scheme. One downside to the highmount will be that it will show off the ugly swingarm of that generation of monsters (I have the same swingarm on mine - it's just slabby and plain).

If you weigh more than 180 pounds you'll get a lot of bang for the buck with new springs front and back.  Your forks aren't adjustable but you can get springs and a good tech can cut PVC shims to set the preload correctly.  Makes a huge difference in how the bike handles.  You can also upgrade the rear shock but you'll want to make sure the forks are set up correctly as well.

Stuff you can do "on the cheap": ditch the reflectors, stickers, side panels, carbon cannister, windscreen.  Tail chop.  Diode mod so it will run on the sidestand.

Have fun!

Good thought, I'm 190 bare ass naked (I'm a grappler so I check my weight frequently) and with gear and the occasional wife on the pillion better forks performance would be helpful.

Actually all these things, with the exception of the stickers and maybe side panels (not sure what they are) have been done already!  And when I see a bike that doesn't have them done I am reminded that they are a real improvement!

Have fun!
