My new to me rear sets just arrived. I'm trying to figure out the over engineered brake set up. I've got most of it - except for this do-dad.  Anyone know where it goes?  It's got 3 holes, two the same size and one larger. The large one has wear marks on both sides, so it seems like it was part of a moving assembly... maybe.

Also, anyone got good shots of these Rearsets installed on a bike - a little reference wouldn't hurt.

-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Kophjager sent me some photos of his setup... and it's still a mystery. The whole set up is a bit odd. The MC is mounted to a plate that is bolted to the engine case. It's mounted horizontally, with the exit at the back. Then there's a push rod connected to a pivot on that plate and the control lever - the rod pulls the plunger pin into the master and pushes the bottom of the pivot away triggering the brake switch.

Got my answer. It's a support for the reservoir. Now if I could only find some 3 hole peg carriers like yours darkstar.
