I think anything that makes us think we're not invisible might get us to ride in a less defensive manner, so I'm not really for it.

Based on the little photo in the review... it didn't do much. I think a large(r) area of reflective material on the helmet would do more.

I for one would be against sticking a large foreign object on the outside shell on my helmet in fear that it may interfere with its physical integrety during an actual crash. Just my $0.02.

Like yuu mentioned above, couple of pieces of reflective media would be as far as I would go when it comes to tempering with my brain bucket.

Still kind of a cool idea. Perhaps placing it on the back of the jacket instead.
