hey all, my speedometer just went out and i checked the cable and the inner one was broken, anyone know where i can order another?  pretty sure its easy to put a new one on, am i right??

Best bet is to get one at a dealer, but a local speedometer repair shop should be able to hook you up too.

I can possible hook you up with a used one.  I went with an electronic/magnetic setup on my bike and I might have my old cable.  I'll check tomorrow and see if I can find it.

There's no guarantee though, as the storage unit where I keep everything seems to be eating spare parts.

I use yamaha speedo cables , as they are cheaper and slightly longer which reduces strees on the cable

any certain kind?  or you just tell the yamaha dealer you want a speedo cable?
