Maybe I can inspire him to get his SV rolling and out of my basement ASAP!

Then I can inspire him NOT to bring over your old FZR.

;D

WTF is Guzzi/Piaggio/Aprilia still waiting for to put this bike (and its sisters) into production?!?!?

This one [drool] [drool] [drool] is my current desktop background:

Really dig the integrated tail light + turn signals + mud guard setup! I'd like to do something similar on my Speciale 8)

More pics here, btw http://www.omnimoto.it/foto/1862/moto-guzzi-v12-lm-concept
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

Been waiting since EICMA 2009... if they still can't agree, then it's time to break out the big foam-less clue bats! [evil]

New toy from Pagani (makers of the Zonda) coming out at the end of the year: the Huayra.

More pics here. It'll probably sell for a ridiculous amount of money and run on baby seals instead of gas, but still it's sexeeeyy! [drool]

Hmmm Lotus!  [drool]

Love how they managed to re-lauch the company since the Elise. [thumbsup] And these colors are just awesome, there's something about the black/gold combination that just spells SEXY all over it!

I slagged it before, but A&R offers an opposing viewpoint. The "devil's advocate" if you will.

Agreed. I think one smart point is:

Like lemmings running off the cliff into the sea, die-hard Ducatisti would have long ago run Ducati into the ground pursuing the ultimate in Superbike-only brands…in fact they did…several times.

The inconvenient truth in Italy is that the Ducati Diavel wasn't made for the current Ducatisti â€" it was made for future ones. It shouldn't be surprising that the Diavel is unappealing to many of the already indoctrinated, and that's likely well and fine by Ducati. It's not looking to up-sell its current rider base to this $17,000-$20,000 motorcycle, instead the Italian company is looking for fresh meat for the brand.

+1 on that, kind of makes me think of what happen(s/ed) at Guzzi.

Don't remember where I read this but there were a bunch of people really bashing the design of the Guzzi V12 concept bikes. Personally I think they look awesome and, aside from the silly rear view LCDs with cameras in the cylinder heads, they are just stunning!

I would actually like to copy their rear mud-guard design with the integrated licence plate + lights. I just need to figure out how to do it with an old SBK mono swingarm... :-\

Agreed - that Guzzi concept looks bad ass.
