NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Ferrari is recalling its new 458 Italia model after several vehicles were reported to have burst into flames.

A Ferrari spokesperson told CNNMoney.com the luxury supercar is being recalled in order to make modifications to the wheelhouse assembly....

Apparently it's more than just one! That's sure a sad end though to a beautiful $230,000 Italian machine.

i like how the article says its not a design fault but they are fixing it anyway due to unlucky situations.  yeah right.  that is why they are replacing glue with metal fasteners, sorry that is a design problem.   [clap]

great looking car, on the bright side when ferarri has a recall its only 300 cars when toyota does it its 1.5 million.  [laugh]
