Low RPM at start after installing PCIII

Just got PCIII installed on my S4R (03). I notice my idle rpm at start is not smooth and low. But it got better after a few miles of riding. It used to be 1250+/-rpm at idle before installing this item. What's the root cause of it? Which part do I need to tune, air or fuel?

FYI. My bike has Remus exhaust full system+K&N air filter

Have you looked at the map that's in the PCIII?

Not yet but will do investigating soon. Would you pls advise what I should look in the map? I just wanna make sure I would go directly to the root cause of problem. I think it is about map & PCIII itself, 'coz this never happened before I installed it.

Look at low rpm (~1000), 0% and 2% throttle.

Not sure if it is related but - I had a problem similar to yours when my DP ecu was set too rich.  The problem, as I recall was the ecu goes through a rich mixture period on start up - like an automatic choke - whether the bike is warm or cold.  My bike would start pretty well when the engine was cold or when the weather was cold but if the weather was hot and the engine was warm it had a real tough time idling until the "choke" period was over and then it idled OK again.  I don't know how this might help with the PCIII but it might be worth something.

AFAIK, the ECU will go with a richer 'cold-start' setting for the first 20001 revolutions at start up.
If it's sitting at a 2000 RPM fast idle, that's a minute before the enrichment is turned off.

There are definitely engine and ambient air temperature correction tables in the ECU, as well.

Keep in mind also that the issue may be due to something that happened during installation.

Note 1) To my knowledge, the 2000 revs is true for IAW59 ECU's, may not be true for other models.
