G'day everyone,

I have done a quick search for this but cant find a clear answer.

Im looking for a Race ECU for my monster as i have come upon some very unfortunate events.

a friend metioned that there is a mototec brand?

Has anyone used or know someone that has used one?

I need to use it for only the basics, starting the bike and the running of the engine.

Many thanks in advance

Hey Marty

Might you be talking about Microtech which is the brand that Ozducati sells.
I've never seen any for a 620 though why is it that you need a new ECU are you having problems with yours or do you just want to do some tuning in which case a power commander might be better for you.

Hi Marty

Yes, we sell them, the Microtec is the ultimate in tuneable ECU's, but they do bypass the immobiliser...

where are you based ? we now have a dyno tuner in sydney who is very capable of tuning it correctly...

Regards

Michael

Thanks for your replies

I have completely fried every electrical part on my bike...

since the cost of the repairs far out way the cost of the bike i have chosen that i will turn the bike into a track bike...

I think i really need to improve my craft and coming into some new work there is not many opportunities to ride the bike.

Micheal i live at the base of the blue mountains,

I'm looking for the ecu to run the bike purely for track only... no lights ect

anything that doesnt need to be on the bike will be removed...

Would the ECU work with my 620ie ?

Cheers

Hi Marty

Yes, the Microtec will work with a 620, would recommend you get it fitted and tuned by our dyno guys to ensure it runs it's best...

Send me a PM or email me (sales@carbon-imports.com.au)  if you wish to go ahead...

Michael thanks for the reply, i will get in contact when im ready to go ahead. who is the person doing the dyno tuning? cheers  chug

Ollie, i had just come home from a trip up the putty, i was in the drive way when everything went poof, and the battery was steaming... i took it to where i was working and we pulled it apart... and every electrical connection was black or you could see where the power had grounded itself.

was not the nicest thing i have ever seen!
