Zards

I finally take some vacation time away from the Middle East and come home to a pile of waiting parts. I tackled the Zards first...7 hours later they are finally on. I'm still trying to figure out the mounting parts of the mufflers. I've got the left side nice and tight, but the right side still sorta wiggles. I'll figure it out tomorrow. Install was harder than I thought. I did unnecessarily take out the rear header, but it wasn't too bad re-installing. Pics after more tasty bits added, but for reference:
Stock...except for clutch cover...right side
Stock...left side
Stuff going on tomorrow: rearsets, sliders, clipons, grips, levers and mirrors.

Is it tomorrow yet?
Hey, that left side isn't fully stock either. At least I don't think that access cover is stock. It may actually be stock on the Tri-colore but I don't know.
And what's coming off? Reflectors and frame stickers maybe?
Have fun and glad you made it back safe.

I've got the Zards, front axle sliders, frame sliders installed. The rearsets are on, but need tweaking. The mosquitos and humidity were making me crazy, so I'll get to it in the morning. I was going to leave the clipons for another day, but I found the tool to remove the center triple tree nut, so tomorrow's schedule is mirrors, levers, clipons, grips and finish up the rearsets.

Yeah I looked at that just before going to bed and remembered it doesn't need to come off.
It's 0600. I'm taking the dogs for a walk, some breakfast and back to the mods...maybe I'll even ride it today

Not quite 100% done. Still waiting for the last parts to arrive, but here it is:
Initial impressions: Rizoma stuff is nice, but you do need to sorta think outside the box when installing parts. The Speedymoto Tall boys arent all that tall. I have them set as high as possible (under the top triple) and I feel like I'm leaning forward more than the stock bars. SM sliders easy to install. Haven't taken it for a ride yet so I'll post about the mirrors and levers then. I removed the Zards badges for a cleaner look. Tomorrow the 14T sprocket and clutch slave cylinder go on and then for a ride.

Good job
Only thing I'd change is the blue clutch plate. Don't think it goes with everything else. But it's your bike

I went with the blue pressure plate because I thought it would be the same hue as the tops of the Ohlins forks, but it's much darker. I like the blue because it's less common than red or gold, but I do have a red one just in case. Tail chop after a couple week trip to Texas and California.
I actually rode it yesterday. The Rizoma Radial mirrors show a beautiful reflection of my elbows, but I may have a fix for that. The rearsets are very nice, but with the solid pegs I get jabbed in the legs whenever I use foot power (when seated) to move the bike. Also it's harder to find the sidestand with my heel without looking. I didn't quite bleed all the air out of the new clutch slave cylinder, but it was still rideable. Finding neutral was bit more difficult. On the plus side, the Rizoma Sportline grips are much nicer than I thought. The new levers are pretty good as well. The Zards exhaust? Well, the sounds during the ride were just plain GLORIOUS! [moto] I sorta wish I could postpone my trip for a few days to sort everything out. Still waiting on the tailchop kit and bar-end blinkers.
