Anyone add fairings to a Monster?

I am not talking a full-on set of race fairings. I am talking more like a larger nose fairing or even an upper fairing.

Part of me wants to use the nose section of a later SS. Airtech makes one, and it's a pretty cool piece.
I am also thinking in the direction of something like a Aprilia Tuono or something like that. I have a Thruxton fairing, and I want it to switch back to when I want to switch it up. I don't want to do the typical plastic streetfighter fairing/headlight, as I am getting bored with those, as well.

I just want to further separate my Monster from everyone else's.
Mad, bad, and dangerous to know.

ive heard of people getting sport 1000 half fairings to work but ive never seen it.

anything can fit if you put enough time or money (or both) into it. If you have something definite that you like, try and find one then see what it would take to mount it. you will need to weld on tabs to mount the fairing as well as the forward mount/stays.

nothing beyond a windscreen (like the thruxton one you already have) is gonna bolt right up.

Zooom had an older BMW bubble 1/2 faring that he'd fit to his 900 for the chilly months. He might have some pointers

Duc Cutters website had some at one point but I can't find them.  Send them an email but they had several previously.

the way the fairings mount you will either have to weld onto the head tube a mount (permanent) or create a bracket custom (removeable)

Yes, several Monster owners have.  Do a search for Monster Challenges (especially in Europe) over the past several years.
A lot of different looks out there.

Yes, but then something beautiful like this comes along and you start thinking to yourself, "Damn, Self. That looks incredible. I wonder what's under all those clothes."

more like putting on a racy swimsuit on a centerfold, sometimes, the right suit can make it just as sexy

I like that fairing, but to my eye, it doesn't seem to flow with the lines of the tank.  I wonder of a more angular fairing will work better...

Do you mean like this?

this is my plan for my bike.

this is where it is at now

Generally speaking, I like the cafe-type fairing bette, but I prefer yours for the Monster.  If you can make the bottom edge of the fairing parallel with the upper edge of the knee indent in the tank, it will flow better, but that might be too much trouble for what its worth.
