What kind of finish is on the Dark S2R's tanks?  Is there some sort of satin clear coat, or nothing at all?  I have never actually been around a dark Duc before.

I always heard it described as eggshell.  There is no clear coat on it.

So the tank badge is just a stick on?

Yup, laminated cast vinyl. I peeled mine off the day I bought it.

Does it just peel off? I'm replacing it with your laminated one and need to know if I have to use a hair dryer.

It will peel off, but leave adhesive. Use Goo Gone or a similar citrus adhesive remover to remove it. Spray the area, then let it sit for thirty seconds. If you don't let it sit you'll smear a lot of adhesive around. Once it has sat, scrape the excess adhesive off with a credit card. Once that is removed spray the area again and wipe off the remaining adhesive. Clean up the area with alcohol or windex and you're good to go.

Artful, I though I read somewhere that you made signs or something.  Do you also do tank decals?

I do a pretty wide variety of custom work, PM me if you have a project idea. Tank decals are definitely something I dabble in  waytogo

hey dude, I'm still trying to decide on the tank decal for my Monster.  I'm thinking of just that original decal I had posted on the T-shirt that I showed you.
