Anybody know who makes the clutch cover in this picture? The picture is from CA cycleworks for the speedymoto beltcovers, but I checked speedymoto's website and didn't see it. Also don't see it on CA cycleworks.

You're right! It appears to be out of production though. Thanks for the help!

Yep. Area51 by SpeedyMoto. I have contacted them about this a year ago, and they only had 1 left, that had some cosmetic flaw. I regretingly passed. My next step is to buy a blank and machine it myself. I searched awhile back and remember that someone had blanks for sale. If I could get the CAD data right I might make a couple of knock-offs.

It looks like you could pretty easily do this to your stock cover with a drill press and a hole saw...

scduc

It may look that way, but I doubt it's that easy. trying to drill a straight hole on an a part with an angle, the drill will want to walk. I am going to try milling my own first, but I think it will turn out better with an aluminum blank.

I did the same thing to my clutch cover before I picked up a Cycle Cat 3- piece.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Yeah, that's great. Can't see photobucket pics on this computer network. Is that just half of the hi/lo system?

That's what they make center punches and holesaws with bits in the center for  ;)

I think so. They brought both pipes up under the tail, side by side with small cans.

Add a drill press and you have the exact set up I used to drill my cover.

So I decided to machine my stock cover to resemble the one in question. (will post pics later). As I'm machining the circles, I realize that these are two pieces and now looks kinda bad cuz it separted slighly in the middle. Maybe once I paint it black, it won't be as noticable. Also, What the hell do they paint these things with? Real gummy and the coating on the inside is like teflon. If I cant live with the looks, I will make a blank of my own. Now that I have the Geo. almost perfect.

Bead blast it before you paint it.
