Monster U shaped headlight bracket
«

Has anyone else had issues with the tabs that are welded on this bracket? I'm wondering if it is beacuse of the fairing stays I added which is the theory offered by a respected Duc shop. I've had those fairing stays on the bike for the last 20K or so on the M900 and the last 10K on the S2R. I put them on so I could add the taller zero gravity shield. Thanks for any feedback. - Gene

You better ship that part to me for evaluation purposes. I'll get back to you later with an answer.

I'm assuming the tabs cracked at the weld?
Mine cracked, and I'm not using any fairing stays.

I appreciate the humor but I'm asking a serious question that could affect a large number of DMF members. - Gene

Exactly, that is what I wanted to know, what is your mileage and age of the bike. Thanks - Gene

It happened at about 18.5k miles, over 5 years ago.
