I am in China. Again. Near DTM. Eating not Mexican food. Drinking not beer.
Instead in my place I will send this small editorial on recent Chinese cuisine: 

  Deep fried knuckles over noodles paired with cashews and a lovely rose from Sonoma I brought. Fish-head coconut soup, divine. The eyes, less than shy. Ginger slices and Sea cucumber, a cute name for huge ocean worm that evades your teeth in the oddest way making the experience in your mouth seem to go on almost forever. 

Enter Durian. A massively spikey fruit that smells like death and tastes like sweet avocado and ripe vagina if you can get it past your nose. Yang-he, herb wine in a girly blue bottle goes down like flaming paint thinner and has the strangely similar effect of a lobotomy. White faced affect instead of red, fallowed directly by staggering, quips, declarations in awkward poses, and speaking in tongues.

The Chinese, not so lazy in the cuisine category. Nothing without confrontation. This is not sustenance alone, this is an eating adventure. Standard really.

It was a lovely evenin'.  Missing a few of the regulars...MM?  (Too cold?)  Spidey?  (Larva came early?)  Just missed DQ&BG I guess.  Wanted to hear about the wedding!

Tamale lady never showed, so I grabbed a bowl of mac-n-cheese.  $3 for OMG-goodness... Is this a new menu item?
