Do you think that we could try to be adult enough to keep this somewhere near topic.
You know...support a fellow motorcyclist on his journey and all.
I know the SOCAL DMC bunch will be meeting Paolo... and riding

the reason why people around the world hate Americans.
Yeah, I think there's a reference to that in the Pakistan pics.

Met paolo in Malaysia and had a couple of beers with the guy at hard rock,i must tell you he is a genuine guy and he never wanted anything from ducati for his expedition around the world,he gets his funds from some sponsors for gas and other minor expenses,he doesn't have a back up vehicle or anything,he sleeps in tents at night. The amazing thing was he never had any breakdowns, engine wise,i'm sure he got a few flat tires etc...He also mentioned that ducati wanted him on the payroll but declined it for the reason that once he goes on the payroll it'll be more like work for him and that's really not the reason he did it.To Italian fans he is a hero, then he said to me that ducati runs in his blood, talk about passion.
Paulo doesn't speak english fluently but i have to tell you ,it was fun!well worth the two beers i spent on the guy:-)
I tried following him through his site but the damn thing is Italian! Ciao:-)

I'm not sure your screenname means what you think it means.
Maybe it does mean what he thinks it means and just has brass balls. kudos to him..
I would buy this guy (paolo) dinner if he was coming near DC. guy is out there living the dream, imho. furthest i've done on a road trip was 6 months and 12k miles, but that was in a vw camper bus (a type 1, not a poopoo type 4)

Well, I'll be back into a bigger place 2 days prior to his arrival with an extra bedroom for him to sleep and spot in the garage for the bike.
I'll have to get a hold of Ducati Scottsdale on Tuesday to see if anything is being planned for his arrival.
I see he's also going up to Flagstaff..I assume he's heading through Sedona and up to the Grand Canyon. I'd like to ride up that way with him..if it's possible?!

Paolo Pirozzi was met Friday morning at the Peace Arch US/Canada border by DesmoNW who patiently waited for almost 4 hours while Paolo was scrutinized at the border!! His US leg is off to a bit of a slow start..
After spending the evening in Seattle Paolo departed from Ducati Seattle Saturday morning heading south to Portland.. escorted by both DesmoNW & Ducati Pacifica DOC

A few of us took Paolo out to dinner in Seattle Friday night (local brewery). He's a pretty funny guy...and his english isn't too bad. I'll post pics when I get them.
