it's on my short list of bikes when i'm ready for a new one.  Altho, i will likely wait for a 2nd year model to come up used before buying new.

Bike sold - But I'm still lurking.

didn't they have their license pulled?

I wonder why? I recently re-viewed that episode where they "custom built" that new monster that looked like crap.

Though, it never did make much sense to me why hardcore chopper builders would open a Ducati dealership.? An 1198 doesn't exactly scream chopper enthusiast.

Yeah, really. I make the beast with two backsing hate it.
The Diavel or the newer Monster or both??

This Diavel thing I couldnt care less about.  Its just another Ducati variant I personally wouldnt buy, but if others do/will then they're not wrong.  And neither am I  Grin.

I had been contemplating between a Streetfighter or a NightRod for my second bike but I think I really like the Diavel and it has jumped to the top of the list.

This bike looks kickass. The concept rocks. I can't wait to ride it.  Evil

I have always wanted a Harley Night-Rod...I was really anticipating a Monster 796 to replace (or be added to) my S2R...until I saw the prototype of this bike.  I am really anxious to test ride the Diavel.  I need to start saving my pennies.  My real hope is that this bike will have a nice comfy passenger seat, that way this will become my 2-up bike and I'll keep the Monster for 1-up.

when you test it, per normal ducati fashion, I would suggest your comfort test focus on positioning and ergonomics rather than plushness of seat: the really comfortable seat is typically in the DP catalog. The comfort seat for the MTS1200 is incredible.

It would seem I haven't kept up on service intervals since departing with my M900....

Significant improvements. From 4,000 then to the well known 6,000, now 7,500 on all models except those with the 11-degree Testastretta
