I own several motorcycles. I have owned lots of motorcycles. And have bolted and/or modified lots of crap to said motorcycles...

Not sure why the Sedici and the R1 sound alike...

R1  -  180-90-180-270 or 1-0-1-1-0-1-0-0-
D16 -  90-200-90-340  or 1-1-0-1-1-0-0-0-

Or do I have the info wrong?

That Recording sounds nothing like the D16.

Hmm...that recording sounded pretty accurate to me.  And yes, the R1 and D16 sounded similar.

The R1 with race exhaust sounds amazing on the track.  [evil]
Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Ducati on a race track have always had a unique sound. Even back in the '60s you could tell when there was a Ducati single in the pack.   [thumbsup]

Well, it's much raspier in person. Also, riding one without ear plugs makes your ears feel like they are bleeding. [thumbsup]

Very true, the D16 is MUCH raspier.  And also must agree with the volume.  I rode behind one a while ago and couldn't even hear my own full arrow exhaust...lol.

IMO  RSV4 was freaking amazing!

Yep.  Got to listen to one of these in person last weekend.  Thing sounded flippin' nuts!
