I know the exhaust threads have been beaten to death and then some but here goes anyway....

So I've been wanting to change my exhaust to a full system and decided to go with Terms.  Went to the dealer asked them to order and they informed me that DP is no longer making the model for my bike.  I have a 06 S2r1000.  They have discontinued this particular set up. bang head

I want to keep the right side high mount shotgun's, Any suggestions?

I seem to be leaning to Quad D titanium or Arrows full system.  I will run open airbox and Protune for the Air/Fuel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Mike

For what it's worth I have a 08 S2R1K with Roads Italia slip-ons, Marving mid-pipes, and a re-flashed ECU.  Love the set up and would recommend it for anyone interested.

The Roads websit is at http://www.roadsitalia.com/english/index.php

I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have...

Arrow's full system looks the best.  I like the way the cans are aligned and I like the way the exhaust runs under the engine.

^^^^

I'd gladly trade my Zards high-mounts for an arrow shotgun set up.

Zard. Shotgun style cans make the bike look squatty.

I bought a full Arrow system from a member here and I'm completely satisfied.  They look great and the sound is downright intoxicating.  My riding buddies say my bike sounds like a WWII plane behind them when I'm at the back of the pack.

Thanks for all the feedback guys....It seems like Arrows are a popular alternative to Termi's.  Just out of curiosity, are you guys running a Power commander or Protune with your full systems?  My local shop is recommending Protune.

Best

My dad has the Arrow full system on his S2R1k. Ended up going with open air box lid and DP ECU re-flashed by Desmoporsche. Runs very well, it will require the reset of your TPS by a dealer. You can do it yourself with a program called VDSTS or something like that. $200 for the software. Dealer charged him $40 to reset the TPS.

I'm late to this party, but on my 900 I ran arrow low-mounts and was happy with the noise they made.

(Ran a PCIII, too, but only had a canned map. Still an improvement...)

From what Ive heard on you tube vids, read on this post and in person (friends 900 arrow slip ons)  the Arrows seem to be the loudest of the exhausts   Grin  I'm wondering if they are too loud (for the neighbors and police).  The vids I listened too, the bike almost sounds like a blown muscle car drool!  Anyone feel like they are too much?

No, not that loud. Maybe half the volume of my twin tubes which are comparable to straight pipes.
