Where can I find a *&%&^$$ 696 gas tank?

Apparently not on mine. Also mine is not an expansion issue, but a warped tank where the fuel pump connects so it can't get a leak proof seal. I have had the bike for 16 months prior to the fuel tank leaking.

I'd suggest warping and expansion are not unrelated.

yeah could be more heat related as the fuel pump sits right over the exhaust cross over.
that heat shield there covering the tank might need some insulation (foil) on the outside/inside to deflect more heat.

Update on my 696 tank. On Monday I get this email from DNA. I am posting the message in full for anyone that wants to use the phone numbers or email address. So 8 weeks after my bike goes in they finally respond to my email requests for help. Just called the dealer who tells me the tank is on my bike and ready to go. Keep in mind they didn't call me, I had to call them.
