toy collection was a bust due to the sketchy weather.

If anyone is feeling generous, money and toys can still be donated:

Toyride.org needs toys! Please derby if you can to help out Michelle and Chris to get toys for the foster kids! You can donate through paypal!! You can also bring toys to M1 Sportriders in La Habra!!! We are EXTREMELY short on Transformers, Toy Story toys and scooters. www.toyride.org

If anyone wants to make a cash donation, you can paypal to 'register10@toyride.org' I think in any amount.

I checked with the organizer and they're a few hundred short to buy toys for all the kids.  She told me "We don't need thousands, but a few hundred would cover the rest of the toys and the parties for the kids."

For OC/LA locals you can also take toys to M1 Sportriders in La Habra and drop them off there.  I was told they especially need transformer and toy story toys, and scooters (two wheel Razor kind).  I can get the address if anyone wants that route.

You can learn more about ToyRide and their beneficiary at www.toyride.org

I wasn't sure if this was something appropriate to post in the NMC, but figured it was OK to tack on to this thread.  I'm not involved in ToyRide in any official capacity, only trying to do what little I can.

Thanks for your time.
