"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

To quote Jeff Bridges (on being young again in Tron Legacy): "This technology means that I'll never have to work again and I could still make films. I can say "I'll lease you my image.""

that car wreck was pre-empire, though... in fact, it was before shooting was completed for the original star wars.

part of the opening scene with luke getting waylaid by the snow man in Empire Strike Back was to explain his facial scarring, at least that's what I heard.. he was still in recovery when they started filming.

Yup, that was in '77. Seems like it was in a Vette at the same time he was shooting
Corvette Summer
.
Here you go..
On January 11, 1977, one day before he was set to shoot one of the final scenes needed for Star Wars, Hamill was in a car accident in which he fractured his nose and left cheekbone.[4] According to Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz, Hamill was in surgery from 9 AM until 4 PM. As a result of the accident, a double was used for the landspeeder pickup shots.
The internet sucks for facts. How many accidents was Hamill actually in?! There are links stating he was in the accident before shooting Star Wars in '76. Then there are some saying '78.
