how's the GTA 4?  I had all 3 versions before and wondering would it be just better graphic on 4?  I remember NY story background was on first generation GTA.

Meh...

I'm addicted of course. The story is good, visually it's nice, there are a few refinements that are cool, and the game feels "deeper" with more to do and fool with...

...but there are quite a few moments when I think the animation movements are crude and so "last gen", and I have the sneaking suspicion there is someone watching which radio station I listen to and which songs I like, and that a couple comedian's managers managed to get them a gig on this big video game. It's a little "product-placement-ish", and makes me think they think I'm stupid. GTAs used to be quite smart IMO.

I'd say the game is 60% Hype/40% Cool.

when your in game you bring up your cell phone and select multiplayer. It will search for a game similar to how halo does it "matchmaking" but you seem to be able to get a lot more people in game. you can play co op, free for all, teams, racing, and even play pool or darts and stupid stuff like that. 1 player per console. check out the GTA 4 site it's got alot of information on it. better yet just buy it. I reserved the special edition like 4 months ago... :e:v

the GTA4 online mode is werid, i cant seem to start a game with a friend, and it just boots me back into free roam mulitplayer. and wtf is with that ONE respawn point?
