I post on this forum to provide the MC community with the best repair and alteration service and John (below) sends me the following and I have included my reply to him.
Stop complaining to him, MAN UP and contact me if you have a problem.
And, while we're at it, I ASK YOU THIS, WHAT SPONSOR IS COMPLAINING? WHAT DO YOU DO FOR THIS COMMUNITY?? Do you sell them gear that doesn't fit and then tell them Tough SH*T your on your own.
TAKE A VOTE PEOPLE, IN OR OUT!!!! Should I be removed from you board! Your call folks!!!

We've repeatedly asked you not to make commercial posts on our board except in the local SF board:

We don't allow for commercial posting, but an exception has been granted you as long as you keep your posts limited to the events you put together for San Francisco locals and in the local board. We've got paying sponsors and it's not fair to them if you get a free ride.

I'm personally tired of going to bat for you to allow you to post in the local board only to have you disregard our warnings.

Maybe you forgot this or maybe you're choosing to ignore us. Either way, we're tired of reminding you and if you do it again we'll simply ban your account.

I thought I posted my ad the the SF borad ONLY.
I went and selected the SF club board, or so I thought.
If other people have a problem they should send me a PM and I'll respond to their inquires.
I provide the motorcycle community a service that is FAR BETTER then anybody elses. Helmont only works on his stuff and I'm not really sure about the rest of them.
If people are complaining to you about my posts, tell them to MAN UP and contact me!!!!!!!!!!!!
Over the past year since I opened my new studio I have maybe earned $3000.00 doing repairs and alterations through the MC community and 99.9% of that has come through BARF.

Well, going through your posts ... literally, 23 our of 24 of them are ads, and most have keywords at the end of them so they'll show up on searches for lots of additional keywords ...

If it was me, i'd either pay to be a minor sponsor, or just hang on BARF where most of your business comes from anyways and avoid the controversy

Other then selling a few used suits the ONLY thing I do are Repairs and Alterations for peoples riding and racing gear. i do not make and/or sell any type of product to the motorcycle community. I provide a very useful service that is second to none, and I am up to that challenge any and every day.

Sweet, it's actually kind of a PITA to find a good leather guy    The way that the admins run the board is such that if you're advertising a business with your posts you need to sign up for a sponsorship account.  This is a free service, so people that are using it to get the word out about their business need to pay a small fee accordingly:

fwiw, i didn't even know you existed until you posted this on the general board. maybe that was your intention.

that said, i doubt there are any sponsors complaining. it doesn't make it any less fair for the ones that pay to allow you to advertise for free all over the board. as much as you "do for the community," it doesn't help pay the bills for the forum you're using to advertise your business.

that said, it appears that the forum owners have granted you an exception. throwing that in their face in an obvious cry for attention on the general board will likely not work in your favor.

i'd make a small suggestion to check your tone and your approach to this matter.
