Uh....yeah, I don't think so.  You don't get to have an 1198 and claim to be part of the Dirtbag mentality.  Anyone with two footpegs, working lights, and license plate really doesn't qualify for that matter.   cheeky

You should see the Supersport these days.

The greatest motorcycle event in the Bay area!

Build a functional (non-harley) motorcycle/chopper for under $1000, from parts and other random found objects.   Lots of burnouts, beer, rat bikes and craziness.

It is held down in Hunters point if I remember correclty.  The website seems to be down, but here is a sample of the kinds of bikes people build  http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/122_0803_dirt_bag_challenge/photo_10.html

There's some kind of 'snuggling-kiss-and-make-up' joke there but I only got an hour of sleep last night  boo so I can't put it together.

The music and people watching outdoes 99% of the bikes.

If you hung around late last year you got to see one guys burnout get away, zip between two concrete barricades and hit a parked SV 650.
My advice would be to park behind something big.
