I've never seen one of their bikes before.

Well, it's an early '851' style Monster frame with a 'ST' style pushrod/shock/rocker setup. and a SSS.
Not necessarily an ST rocker, though.
Looks wild, maybe OK.
i figured it's probably something like the Febur's SSS conversion for the hooped monsters. i'm sure the rocker levels out with the rider, but seems to me the shock is a bit too long. but who am i to say. it's a nice different build. i really like the paint scheme.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

You have a vendetta against me today or something!! The poop photo now this!
I'm getting out my geometry book and protractor right now. We will know the exact distance shortly (give me a month).
* based on the shadow on the ground at 1:35 and the relative size of the red car he is roughly 1 (red car) car length from impact. About 7 feet.

i was basing my estimate on the number of rock pebbles i counted on the ground between his front tyre and the car, and that's spain so they use the common sevillian sediment, which have an approximate diameter of 5mm. i counted 2200 pebbles between his front tyre and the rear of the car, and added a 20% confidence interval. 2200 * 5mm = 11000 mm = 433 in = 36 ft.
of course, if they are using the more expensive portuguese portomaio pebbles, those have an average diameter of 3mm, so adjust accordingly.
