White tongue remedies?

I know it's probably due to a poorly balanced diet but that isn't likely to get fixed anytime soon. Anyone have first hand experience using glycerin or any home remedies?

but I can't really say I know what the answer is to the problem or the cause

I believe those are harvested from executed Chinese prisoners and could prove problematic

as you run the risk of speaking in foreign tongues post-transplant

This stuff works really good.  Especially if you are a smoker, or if you breathe through your mouth.

It isn't necessarily your diet. Could be you oral hygiene. Do you smoke? Has anyone ever told you that you sleep with your mouth open?

Try a tongue scraper, they're only a couple bucks at any drug store.

Also, if it's a patchy white it could be something more serious.

main causes are smoking or ALOT of tea or coffee mixed with less than superb oral hygiene

cut down on the above, brush and get a tongue scraper

usually it's an overabundance of bacteria in your mouth

Don't smoke but I guess I might sleep with mouth open a bit. At least that's what the drool marks on my pillow tell me.  I do wake up with a dry throat a lot of the time.

A lot of times if your Stomach is not healthy it will show up in a white coated Tongue.

It can be your diet causing Stomach upset, Tobacco or drinking Caffeine causing too much Stomach Acid, Medications that you might be taking, insufficent Oral Hygene, and even Stress can cause your Stomach to produce excess Acid.
