Looking for a new speedo drive (or even just the black plastic hub gear) to fit my 2000 M900Sie.  Will the speedo off of a 2001 M750 fit, in terms of axle size?  I know there are some weird variations around this "middle generation" of Monsters, so I wanted to check.

Also, does anybody know where the turn signal flasher relay is located?  I lost all use of my signals and am trying to hunt down the gremlin.  Thanks!

Hollow axle and hollow axle, i believe - you should have no problem.  (25mm front axle)

If your axle is solid, then you have problem. (20mm front axle)

Compared the parts numbers in the 2000 M900Sie and 2001 M750 fiches, and they are identical.  Should have done this first.  Thanks!

There's only two sizes for Monsters that use a speedo drive. The solid 20mm (older bikes, 1999 and before), and the 2000+ 25mm hollow axle (like those on the 748/916/996).

I read there was one that was really small up front, like 17, but I have no FHE.

The axle on my '96 is 17mm. The shoulder might be 20mm.

I sent the drive, speedo, and cable away as a donation to bp's bike years ago.
