 Hello,
I have a 98' M900...really want a Streetfighter!!  Budget won't allow it.
So I am trying to achieve the streetfighter look without giving up the good handling I now have.
The bike has a complete tailchop, 41 FCR's, Ohlins rear, 12'' low mount exhaust...giving a lot of rear wheel view (space) License relocated by the rear shock.

I want to add the 30mm hoop spacers to raise the rear... I think after doing that I might shave my seat 1'' and recover it.  So the actual seat height would be about 2'' total
I use this bike for errands & 10 mile freeway daily commute.  Very little aggressive riding.
My question is should i do it!!?

Thanks
My people skills are just fine.

You will create a much quicker handling bike.  Lost stability on the straights may be lost, but the loss will be somewhat counteracted since the weight is shifted forward.  At 30 mm you will need a longer sidestand.  I would suggest going up in smaller increments, maybe in 5-10 mm increments and see how it goes.

You`ll definately need to raise the front to be near your present handling.
I believe when you feel you need a st damper on the hoop Monsters, you have too much
rear height compared to front. If you already have good suspension settings.

Just my 2c.
