So, I've never had a bike with highmounts, nor a cf exhaust. Currently, the high mounts on my bike are attached to a bracket under the seat. Do these pipes get hot enough to burn through jeans or riding leathers? I plan to ride 2 up every now and then.

Or would it be more reasonable to go to a muffler shop and have them chop and weld new piping for low mounts?

They will get warm, but that's about it.  Carbon fiber stay coolest.  Of course, this assumes the packing is intact.

you can touch cf when the bike has ran all day and it'll still just be warm to the touch, you're good to go and the high's look awesome

Do your S-pipes have heat shields?

have her rest the tips of her toes on the back of your heels, pointing your toes downward. then she has a place for her feet.

No heat shields, are there any available for the non S*R monsters?

I do have the stock rearsets, so the pegs are there. Been riding, all good!
