This will be an unpopular comment but I don't think it's any uglier than the new Multi. All the bikes in this "class" aren't exactly pretty. It's no worse than a GS, V-Strom, etc.
I don't have a problem with that comment.  They are all ugly, espcially the front ends and headlights.  At their best they look ruggedly tough from certain angles.
