[thumbsdown]  can anyone prove the title wrong?  even used ones (especially used ones) would be good. color/imperfections dont matter as long as its useable, its getting paint anyway.

still... every other bike gets 200-400$ set ups, the stupid swingarm pivot mount means $$$ [bang]

Howley

I think ducati means $$$$ not swingarm pivot mount.

try it with a dual swinger.  even more difficult.

I'm more of a bolt on type of guy, but if someone can point me at the right place I'll educate myself.

definitely wasn't direct bolt on. I seem to remember one way that involved welding tabs on the frame so that you could use any (or at least many) sportbike rearsets. another involved hacking up and mixing hardware so that it would bolt up. both were fairly involved but provided a useable rearset sub 300$, something that wont happen when rizoma, gilles, and sato are your only real options.

If you are fine with making a simple bracket to bolt to the swingarm pivot, you should be able to use about anything you want.  I would think with some 1/2" aluminum plate, a grinder or band saw, and a drill press you should be able to fit these pretty easily.

if the DSS Rizomas came in a clear ano I'd slap down my credit card today.

Alas, they don't and have no intentions to offer them from what I've been told.

1 coat oven cleaner.  1 hour later, you have no black left.

Matt,

Did I understand this correctly?  Oven cleaner will remove anodizing?

If so, I would really like to remove the blue ano on my Traxxion fork adjustors.  This would be just what I was looking for.

yeah i've seen guys do that before and was never impressed with the outcome.  I'd love to see an example of one, if you have a link.

Febur rearsets are surprisingly affordable.  I checked into them a while ago.  Shoot them an email, the part # is FE 740.  I couldn't believe the price they told me.  And they'll do any color you want!
