"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

it is so much easier to get forgiveness then it will ever be to get permission.

Mercury Cougar / Bordinat Cobra.  There was a coupe and convertible version built.  Great chassis and stunning looks.  Too bad Mercury only built two as "styling studies" and didn't actually put this into production...

+1 [thumbsup]

Somewhere I have a model kit of the coupe that I've never gotten around to building.....

Owned an Amazon (known here as a 122) wagon and a Saab 2 stroke.  Enjoyed them both.
The old 94's were great cars.

I grew up with the Ford Granada .....It was a pretty decent car all in all. The police used them for IRU's ( Instant Response Units) they had a pretty big motor in them for the UK and were reliable.
Another car I was fond of when I was a kid was the Police version of the Rover 3.5Litre late 1970's earluy 1980's. Then the ultimate car from that era was a BMW 633CSI in Red. What else? I am a girl! [laugh]

I always wanted a 911, but this wasn't really my dream car. I would like to have a 1976 930 Turbo one of these days

I still want a 83-85 grey market turbo.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

If Saab would stop trying to be the Swedish Toyota Camry, and made stuff like this nowadays they wouldn't be chinese owned.

[drool]

Although, at 55 hp, they'd need a better powerplant.  Give me this car with 200 hp and we are in bidness.
