I only see jesus having a sauna with a teletubbie.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I was concerned about my continued wellbeing while taking the photograph.

Sorry- got sidetracked on the Superbird discussion. This isn't a Talbot Lago, it's a Bugatti. I think it is a Type 57 SC Atlantic. Also one of my favs!

ah yes, saw one at the mullin.  the $40 million bugatti.

the collection there can just take my breath away.

Yeah sorry. Wrong word. Not sure what I meant to say. The thought was probably closer to "second from the worst".

1973 Carrera RSR IROC.  Would love to build a replica.  With only 15 built, the real cars are rare and expensive. Wish I could find the photos I took at the Riverside CanAm/IROC in 73.

Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia.  The not too poor man's 356.  Coupe or cabrio...lovely car

And my favorite air-cooled VW, the Type 3 square-back.

...except for maybe an Elan. ;)

Sorry for jumping into this thread so late - I had a '67 Elan SE drophead coupe (I think that is Brit-talk for convertible) and it still is the most fun car I've ever driven.  It had ball and socket joints for door hinges and under hard cornering the driver's side door would pop right off.   It had the optional 3.55 rear end and it was a huge improvement over the standard ratio which I think was 3.9 or so.

Absolutely the most amazing car.  The faster it went the more stable it got.  I bought it from a friend, wrecked.  Fixed it, wrecked it again, fixed it, wrecked it again and decided to use some discretion and sold it.  Wish I had it back.
