RIP Abe Stacey

Abe Stacey, pro WERA and AMA racer, died in a one car accident on Friday night. Abe was from Inman, SC and an all around fantastic person. If you do a search on him you can see him racing from a tank cam point of view... pretty awesome. When my son called to tell me Abe was killed in an accident I expected it to be on his motorcycle. He rides a race bike at insane speeds and dies in a car wreck. I don't know if that qualifies as ironic but it's frustrating.

Mike Hailwood was killed in a car accident by a drunk MF trucker who should have been hanged by his short and curlies for robbing us of one of the all time greats of motor sport.

Sorry to hijack the thread but Mike was my all time Hero...
