The Mad King Pepe'

Right now I think the worst case scenario is me showing up at DucPond with a few boxes full of engine bits and pieces. [bang] [laugh] [bang]
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time someone has shown up there with a bike in boxes. Good luck!

I suppose I should wax the gravel rash as much as possible out of the RS and replace the left rearset and clipon-barend.

and maybe put on a new rear turn signal for the one left at Loudon.

but I won't.

Statler to perhaps show up at some event next year with rat bike RS.
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

actually, I am surprised you didn't put the 125 or 150cc motor in it sooner....maybe go for the 150 and scratch out the 1 in the casing stamp for "plausibility"...LOL

Stumbled upon this thing on eBay a few days ago, and I decided to follow it, and as of last night I own it.

Only question now is where do I hide it from my wife...  :-[  :'(

What am I thinking of?  ??? ??? ???

Well some basterd recently posted this online and it struck a nerve. I love my monsters but ever since I sold the 748 I've found myself missing something, I can't put my finger on it but it's missing.

On the other side I didn't like the mess of tubes and wires that come with liquid cooling, fuel injection and the ugly 4v heads. I want it something simple, clean and elegant (at least in my eyes). And I've decided to build it myself. [evil]

Ingredients? Obviously SBK forks and triple (already have those), a 2v engine, FCR carbs, and lightweight wheels whose availability will likely influence whether I go DSSA or SSSA. Between clip-ons and a handlebar the latter is more likely, the 748 really killed my wrists.

Issues? Hehe, loads! I don't have a proper garage where I can work or access to milling/cnc machines so that will be a huge limitation. But it's all good. [thumbsup]

So I think I know where I'm going and what I hope the end result will be: [moto] and [evil] and [moto] and [evil].

Reminds me of what the guys on Top Gear did: V8 block for the table and seats as chairs - with working electric reclining motors [cheeky]

I'm almost wishing the 1.8 in my VW will give out so I can make a shop table out of the block and lamps out of the pistons.
