I think my bike deserves a new clutch for Christmas. Mines worn out and extremely loud. I would like an aluminum basket and possibly a new hub. I have been considering the EVR 48 tooth basket and the standard Nichols aluminum 12 tooth basket. I'm looking for feedback on both setups and other options if there are any.

Also does anybody offer a better header than the stock one on there now? 97 M900
Thanks, Jon

I've got a Barnett basket, it's got SS inserts so you can run either steel or aluminum plates.
~12k on it, still good.
I prefer mine with the OEM aluminum plates, it's quieter and a bit more friendly.
I've got an OEM hub, IIRC it's a low miles replacement, they wear under the washer.

48 tooth is going to be quieter, less model/brand choices on plates.

No FHE on those Nichols or EVR apps.

IMO the stock header isn't bad at all.
There's spaghetti headers out there, all used AFAIK, maybe you could find a new one.
