Captain, what do you think of that SC top triple mod?  Issues?  Fitment?  Since installing clip ons the stock triples have instantly become an eye sore that I thought I'd be able to ignore.

Fantastic bike by the way.  I'm trying to get the whole aesthetic of the front end down low like that.  It just looks so make the beast with two backsin mean  waytogo

a buddy is going to do a full photoshoot later but I promised a full picture today and ill be damned if Ill be made a liar in my own thread.

as for the SC triples. as far as I know you need both the upper and lower in order for them to line up correctly. the upper has an odd taper to it  that will force you to mount the clip ons lower than you otherwise would. the gauges also mount differently. I made a simple nothing fancy adapter out of a piece of aluminum with 2 holes drilled for the gauges and 2 holes drilled for the mounts (you can see it in the picture of the gauges).

other than the need to mount low it was pretty straight forward. the ones I bought were from a sport 1000 with the damper mount on the upper triple I cut that off but I didn't shave enough off to retain my ignition tumbler. so I cant comment on whether or not the steering lock will function with the damper less triple. just make sure you dont get one off a GT1000 or it will have holes where the risers mount.
