The exhaust would have been even more bad-ass if the tips came out on the right side ![bang head](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/banghead.gif)

I'd be all over that if it hadn't been crashed and subsequently chromed. The beauty of those tanks to me was always the AL finish...

If I am correctly decoding what the seller was saying ![Huh?](http://ducatimonsterforum.org/Smileys/classic/huh.gif) - it was painted to look like chrome - not chromed. Either way I agree - aluminum tank is best left alone - maybe a clear coat so you don't go broke buying NevrDull

Sold for $650. I don't really understand these holes. Is there a passageway through the tank that leads to the airbox? ![](http://i.ebayimg.com/15/!B86ZC2w!Wk~$(KGrHqF,!lEEy+jC1)KIBM4V,9ugoQ~~_12.JPG)

Says that they are air passages which help significantly to direct air into the airbox.

The holes seem gimicky to me. They shouldn't be on the top side of the tank if they are to direct air into the airbox.

Work or not I'd rather have the extra fuel - if these really are holes through the tank - And unless we find the guy that bought the thing we'll never know - They would have to decrease the tank's fuel capacity.
