So this bike is supposed to be a show piece, huh?. It looks like it could be fun to ride for a bit. Nice job on the build from what I can tell from the pictures. But I think we can all agree that the paint job on that thing is one of the worst assaults against human eyeballs that has ever had the misfortune of gracing a motorcycle. If I saw that thing parked out in front of a Graphics shop I would make sure to write down the name of the shop to keep myself from mistakenly using a company that actually thinks that horrible color and rather trite design work looks good. Truly horrible that paint job is. New paint and new mirrors and I bet 1/2 of the negative comments go away. If I had built that bike I would be pissed that the owner uglied it up so much with that ghastly finish. I feel like that paint job is pistol whipping my retina with my optic nerve. Like it is raping my dilated pupil with photons traveling at the speed of ugly.

In short: good build, bad paint.

/Did I mention I don't like the paint job?

hold on a sec...what is the point of a show bike?...to grab your attention..whether good or bad or indifferent of your opinion...the point is to grab your attention...and it did so...so it is a success

You know what else grabs my attention? Car wrecks. Really horrific car wrecks with glass and limbs and steel and blood everywhere. Hard to look away. Yet the whole time I look at it I wish it never happened.

That's how I feel about this paint job.

I find the "build" being discussed equal to this "build".

A huge "WHY?" is the only question in my mind and unfortunately George Mallory's response of "because it's there" falls very short for me.

I will admit that I like the paint job on the latter much more then the former.  waytogo
