New levers...which ones?

Well I got a text this morning at 11:00 from my landlady saying my bike was lying on its side in the apartment parking lot.  I called her to confirm and avoid any confusion and then proceeded to take an early lunch to go home and see what happened.  Because I had it wrapped up, if someone backed into it, they didn't leave any paint.  But the cops said (over the phone...they didn't feel it was worth their time to come look) that "it was very windy today and it probably blew over" I replied that it never blew over in that parking space for the preceding 9 months but they weren't interested. 

Anyway, I need to find myself a front brake lever, a rear brake lever and I guess a set of bar end sliders.  Thank god I put the frame sliders on it when I bought the bike...I think they saved me a lot of potential damage.  I want rear sets eventually, but I am a week from closing on a house so that really isn't in the budget.  Whats my best bet for repairs? Opinions?

Most of the higher end levers start at $100 for one lever. CRG, Pazzo, etc. they're all good and worth the money.

As far as the rear brake lever, try one of the sponsors to the left or ebay.

Just put a want ad in Parts Wanted for a replacement. A lot of folks replace their levers with aftermarket, and would likely sell you their old lever for next to nothing. Sounds like you just want to put the bike back the way it was and that's the cheapest way to go about it.

honest to god, buying a set of folding levers will save you money in the long run in case you gone down. I went through 4 stock levers and the ngot a set of folding levers. bikes been down twice since then and i havent repalced a lever yet.

i say get folding, adjustable levers.

asv's and other billet levers that do not hinge would transmit the force to the master. I'd rather either replace a lever or simply push it back into position from it folding than have a damaged master cylinder (especially since i got GP radials and SBK Radials on the two monsters, and they aren't cheap).

The DP folding levers for the radial masters look and feel good. They look best in black.  Good machined edge where your fingers go. Fold both directions iirc.

I am going to order up a set of the CRG folders for Milli's bike soon I think. I'd love to afford the folding Rizoma levers, but I'm not sure its in the cards.

My bike, which has Brembo GP Radials, have LighTech magnesium folding levers. They are good, but I would have preferred the finger area have the ridge that machined alu levers have, as I like that. They also only fold "up", thus they are side specific, they are either brake OR clutch, not both (though both of my masters are 18mm pivots, so they would be interchangeable)

If you are closing on a house soon then this incident probably won't happen again.  Why not get OEM replacement levers on ebay for cheap?  Most people change them for pazzo or crg so there should be plenty of stock ones for a good price.

I ran Pazzo's on my bike and enjoyed them...I went back to stock and honestly I haven't looked back.
