Not doubting your right to an opinion in any way, you are of course entitled to hold this view.  I'm just wondering how you know this?  Have you ridden the Marzocchi M796?

I knew someone would jump on that Smiley  I did not say better, simply prefer.

Anyhow, my opinion is baseless.  I just prefer the Showa M796 because I own one Grin

Performance-wise, eveyone I talk to says they're pretty much similar.

My opinion here and answering Uger's too, seeing as the new 796 ABS is being offered for the same price as the older ones, there must be a cost cutting and only change was the forks....just saying.
