Daniel here... just picked up a white '09 696 this past weekend.  Also have a Harley Iron I've been riding for the last year and a half and have had a suzuki rg250 in the past.  Though I've wanted one since I was about 13, this is my first experience owning a Duc.  I have a little over 300mi on her already and loving it!  Looks like a great forum.  Hoping to learn.

Welcome and congrats on the M696, looks great! waytogo

When you get a chance, also stop in and introduce yourself to your local board, Hoosier Hooligans.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it!  Have fun! [moto]

Welcome to the DMF from a fellow hoosier.  Nice bike!  Now you just need to get rid of that stock exhaust  Wink

Hoosier Hooligans are based more in the northwest part of the state (SB and east Chicago, mostly).  If you are closer to central Indiana indydesmo may be more relevant.

Thanks!   Yes, I'm already somewhat familiar with the Hooligans and the IndyDesmo clubs.  I'm sort of right in the middle, just a bit north of the Lafayette area.

I have already done the CF Termi pipes, ECU and Intake.   Has been too cold to try it out though!

I know!   Heck, it's 42 right now! BUT, both my bikes are in pieces waiting on the powdercoater!   I called them, they said there's a chance they could be ready Friday evening.  So maybe a little riding on Saturday could happen.  waytogo
