Throttle cable/turning problem M400

Hey, I have a 2005 Ducati Monster 400 (don't give me crap haha ) and it needs a bit of TLC. Whenever I turn the handlebars completely to the left, the engine revs - now I'm guessing it's because the throttle cable is being pulled tighter? Any ideas on what I should do?

Check the routing of the throttle cable.
As you're turning it to left, look at the cable and see if it's getting pulled around.

Also check the fast idle 'choke' cable, that can get pulled and it will raise the idle.

Ok, I checked it out a lot today - where the throttle cable connects with the engine, there is another cable behind it (is this the choke cable?) and when the handlebar is turned left it pulls this tighter. How should I fix this? Sorry, it's just there is no thai mechanic that has any ideas about ducati's.

You can loosen the adjustment barrel on the cable, put more slack in it.

This isn't a Ducati specific problem, so any mechanic can fix it.

You can probably fix it yourself. I mean, if you're able to find the two cables, then the next steps aren't much harder.
Sometimes it just takes a little wiggle along the cable to reposition it. Maybe a drop of oil here and there?
