Help! Trying to remove the vertical head!!

Have you rotated it by hand w no plugs to check timing is correct?
Started, no leaks?

No, i haven't started it yet. 1st i have to put everything i took out back , then start it ..
i ll do it next weekend.
how do u check if the timing is correct by rotating it by hand? (more info pls) thank you !

that just ensures that the piston and valve don't "make love"

if you have the notches/dots lined up on the pulleys then it should all be good

still killing my brain trying to figure out how the leak started?!?!  ???

a guy brought his harley into my shop to get his front fender repaired...he had just bought it and also bought a bell
for "good luck" he said. he decided to hang the bell on his lower triple and as he went over a large bump the bell
got wedged between the triple and the fender creating a baseball sized dent in it! He ended up getting
a brand new fender already painted from the factory for $400.00.
