Tomorrow & Thursday, 2 shows, each night - 7:00 & 9:30 - The Grand at the Regency Center

tickets are pricey = $80, but if you like jazz/fusion, this will be an epic concert for those of us that were too young (or still but a twinkle in Daddy's eye) the see them together the 1st time around.

I saw Mingo Lewis for free last Saturday night in North Beach He used to play with some of those guys http://www.learningmusician.com/Mingo

Sounds like a cool gig, but alas, not going to be able to swing it.

I went last night, and it was awesome.

Each of them individually is an absolutely incredible musician, together, they take it to another level.

Seats are general admission, so get there 30+ minutes early if you want to be close to the stage (I got there  15 minutes beforehand, as i thought my seats were reserved, and still ended up OK as the place is fairly small, but woulda liked to have been a little closer)

just got back and what an AMAZING show, great to see these guys live .  Thanks for the tip, i got there early and was in 3rd row middle. Wow!

Awesome!  Hopefully, you were at the show that Mingo Lewis came up & jammed with them? (but may have been the earlier show...)
