Hey guys, i'm looking to buy a front and rear stand for my Monster (07 s4rs) and wanted to get opinions on what you guys are using.

On my other bike I have always used Pitbull stands and will probably want to use the same for this bike although I'm open to more cost effective options if there are any.

The rear stand I'm looking at is the following:

It's reversible so I can remove the wheel and sprocket.

Will their front sport bike stand work on monsters the same?  Or not?

The mounting points look slightly different then say the following stand sold by ProItalia

Opinions and thoughts are welcomed!

dont know about their front stand, but I can vouch for that rear one, it's what I have.  It's a great stand but a bit pricey. I've flipped it to work the other side (lever on the chain side) and it's very easy to work.

I have both the rear and front Pitbull stands.  I find both to be very user friendly and well made.

The rear is reversable and once on, it easy to perform chain lube, wheel removal, adjust chain, clean wheels. 
The front, I use the optional front lift that picks up the front from under the steering tube.  However, I can also remove the upper piece and just lift the bike from under the front forks but I prefer the other way.  I can pretty much disassemble the entire bike with both stands mounted.





Note: if you do use this type of pitbull front stand, make sure that you have the rear one connected first.  Otherwise, the front will shift and turn the steering column.  As a result, the bike almost tilted over.  bang head   .  I learned my lesson and luckily, I caught in time.

Yes (from my experience).  When in use with the rear stand, the bike and stands are very stable with no worries about the steering shifting since it's picking up the bike from the frame rather than from under the forks.  However, lifting from the forks works fine as well but not as stable and provide very limited function really since one can not remove the forks, wheels unlike the lift from under the triple tree.

Both front and rear lifts the bike about 3  3/4 inch from the floor to the bottom of the tires.   This clearance made removal and mounting of the entire exhaust system process easy for me.  (I had the pipes coated at Jet-Hot)

Since I just logged about 3,000 miles, I'll be changing the oil, filter and cleaing the oil screen this week so the stands will come in handy.

I have front and rear PowerStands, and can not find fault in them or their AMAZING service.

So I have returned to purchase their chocks and other products. popcorn

I tried to do it once with the fork-lift setup and while loosening the bolts and axel, the front shifted and I realized then that I must have been doing something wrong.  From then on, I decided to just use the steering stem setup to be on the safe side.  The Pitbull website does indicate wheel cleaning and removal so one can probably do it.  I think I was just doing something incorrectly for the front end to shift.

Maybe someone else can chime in on their front wheel removal experience using the pitbull since I'd like to know for sure if it's truly doable.

+1 You get the best of both worlds with the fork stand/steering tube attachment. Since I only use the front stand occasionally, I opted for the cheaper route and picked up the T-Rex version...incredible value and hasn't let me down.

Since I use the rear stand on a daily basis, I got the higher quality Pitbull reversible stand.
